Midweek Motivation: What Is Your True Purpose?
Mar 24, 2022
In my Facebook group, To All The Girls Success Club, we’ve been speaking about purpose this month, about finding that one, God-given thing that you were meant to do, and going after it with all your might.
“Yes”, you might say, “but I am mid career. It’s too late. I’ll make sure my kids will live their purpose. I’ve wasted too much time already.”
Can I tell you that it is not too late to walk in purpose - it’s how you pivot that might make the difference. Here are some examples of people who started late in life:
Toni Morrison began writing at 39 and went on to win the Nobel Prize for Literature. Colonel Sanders - the man who still graces KFC boxes, got his big break in his 60s. J.K Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter mega franchise, published Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in 1997, the year she turned 32.

Has anybody ever convinced you not to go after a goal or to make a decision or take a step because of their own selfish motives and reasons?
So back to my original question. Do you know what you were designed for? Have you figured it out? In these last couple years, I’ve become convinced that we have a RESPONSIBILITY to walk in purpose if we really want to make an impact on this world.
My recent guest on my Facebook Live program echoed these sentiments. Dr. Nadine Joseph-Collins is an international speaker, author and spiritual wellness coach. You can listen to the interview here.
